There are a lot of motion sensor area/closet lights that are lithium polymer powered with on-board USB charging. They tend to be flat, and the battery is NOT replaceable, or at least not easily, if you could find one.
I like the form factor but not the battery. One I have is probably down to 50% life after a year+ of use in a moderately high traffic area. That kind of makes them disposable.

Anyone know of this form that will take user replaceable 18650? Don’t mind if it’s a bit thicker to deal with the battery. Do not want AAA or AA type.

You could easily make your own if you’re up for some DIY-ing. Buy one of those lights, take it apart, and add in a 2x18650 holder.

Ah, didn’t think of that.
Considered getting an LED strip, motion sensor, and just adding batteries. I have a bunch of 12v/3S lipoly from RC days.

Just opened up my light; thin, flat, long lipoly in there as suspected. Would not be hard to simply remove it and rewire an external pack in.
