Where to buy gaggione lenses?

I’m looking for a source of LLC07N and LLC17N lenses.
I see them only available in a single USA store where I’ll pay more for shipping than for the lenses (which are not cheap BTW).
It’s not a deal breaker, the light that I want to put them in is really well worth it but I thought that maybe there’s a cheaper place?

Or maybe some good replacement?

Component Distributors Inc

They allow to buy samples 1 or more.

On the bottom of the page there is a list of global distributors

Just in case you hadn’t seen, Gaggione has a webshop for selling sample quantities, but it looks like their shipping is a flat rate of 12 Euros.

Optics supplier for any field - standard or custom optical parts - Gaggione?

Thanks for the replies.
I checked them all, contacted whoever didn’t have a store on their website….and astonishingly it’s cheapest to order from the USA.
That’s what I will do.

I bought samples directly from them, I don’t think the shipping was that expensive IIRC

14.39 EUR to my place.

Enderman, what models did you buy? Any impressions to share? I’m really interested in their stuff and never knew of them before Clemence put them in the H04 CRI builds. I really like their ‘No Sprue’ designs and am interested if you tried any of them. More likely for you AFAIK would be the clear narrow optics… So I’m curious if you’ve tested beam quality with them and NM1 and PM1 emitters?

12 EUR for shipping is not bad, it was fast for how far it came from.
Very good packaging

The two large hybrid reflectors are disappointing, not very tight beam, reflector is just stamped aluminum, center lens causes some chromatic aberrations and is also not a very good collimator.

The 49U is what I expected a from a typical TIR, nice round spot and a tight beam, much tighter than the large reflectors despite what you would think.

The 56N7 is strange, the material is not a hard plastic, definitely feels like a hard silicone (which it is)
Beam isn’t great, wider than the 49U.

Overall kinda disappointed, only the small TIR gave a nice beam so I can’t really use any of these for a thrower.

The 56N7 was one I was really questioning to add to my cart. It has such a large bottom aperture I can imagine that compromises were made that makes it not great for small HP emitters. I’m surprised though since they rate the cd/lm for the XQ-E HI (my reference since it seems to be widely tested) just over 2x the value of the 49U. I am looking forward to the LLC25 series for my quad E21A builds and variable CCT stuff, and think I’ll stop at their 45mm size.

Thanks Enderman!

Yeah no problem

Honestly all my tests were just done by eye, I didn’t actually measure anything, it’s definitely possible that the larger TIR gives a higher intensity.
I just didn’t like how large the spot was, and the colour.
It’s very cheap though so I would recommend just getting one for testing purposes since you have to pay the same for shipping anyways.
