Ff light

Hey does anyone have any information about the fireflies new light that’s supposed to be ready for pre-order this week. The light is the E07x pro.I have been looking for information about it, and the guy from ff hasn’t gotten back to me. I think his name is Jack. He mentioned it last week in a email.

It’s the E07 with the new buck driver and probably the same threads issue as all their new lights using that tube

I’m very curious about the EO7X pro too. I ordered the E 12r today and want to order a brass Eo7 but remembered this e07x is supposed to be coming. I wonder if they’re going to use the same emitter options as the e12r or if they will have XPL hi’s like the original E07? I hope he offers xpl-hi.

I have know idea. If you get any info please share it with me and I’ll do the same. Thanks Jim

No thread issues with my E12R

Thanks for information. Did you see a price anywhere. Jim

The threads bring a feeling of unease every time I use them. Granted I haven’t accidentally stripped a light’s threads before but every time I changed the battery of the Nov-Mu, it felt like 1 wrong turn would result in stripped threads so I’ve been really careful and try to stick with usb charging.

My nov-mu looked pretty clean from the bits you can see, but yeah, like others mine will turn on before you even get the head on…threads and/or anodizing on them must be awful

Don’t unscrew the unanodized end cap… no reason to

I am just learning about CRI

Wow… this is awesome! Definitely buying this, so glad I didn’t buy the v1 this week. Thank you so much for sharing shakira08! You wouldn’t know where I can preorder do you? Thank you!

If the head threads are this bad I’ll just strip them on the battery tube, I e-lock anyway.

https://www.firefly-outdoor.com/OSG/showproduct.php?id=226 specs are here. I’m guessing it’ll be $98 (since most of their new lights are that price) with short tube+battery option for another $25 (as said in the T1R thread)

Thanks! That’s a premium cost for short tube and battery btw… i saw that price somewhere else too…

Jacky told me $25 because he wants to sell it as a set with the unique battery. $25 shipped to Canada because apparently shipping to Canada has gotten expensive. You might be able to get a cheaper price shipped to the states but idk

My decision to purchase one will depend ,in part, on whether or not I get a response from them. I WILL NOT purchase any product from a manufacturer that doesn’t deem it important to respond to a customer’s emails. If you can’t get a response from the company before you purchase what do you think will happen after a purchase, when you have a issue. I have tried contacting company for 2 months now.I have received 1 response i think on the 12th. I posted a follow-up email that same day and still ,no response. If you go to website and go through the “Contact us”,the email doesn’t even go through. I am very interested in the E07x pro,but will go with another brand if I don’t receive a reply soon. Jim

Wait. While a agree that customer service should be important. Do you really contact all manufacturers before purchasing a product? I bet you scare the bejesus out of Charmin.

Don’t know how use you are to contacting support folks whos native language is Chinese. I always give and take this same advice. Always keep your correspondents with them dead simple. No long drawn out explanations or needlessly complex questions. Just short and too the point. No American slang or shorthand either. I have always gotten positive responses when I follow my own advice.

I can’t fix how long it takes for them to get back to you. That just seems to be a issue with one man shops trying to make it in China. Most of these guys don’t make their living on flashlights alone. But, if you make it easier for them, they may make it easier on you.

Besides astrolux and ff. I have know problems communicating with any manufacturers. It isn’t about the messages, Its about the respect the manufacturers have for their customers. Also the U.S supplier of FF I have found to be dishonest. But I don’t believe at this time that to be a accurate portrayal of the FF brand.I have sent a inquiry through the new website, so.I will see what happens.

Oh and Nealsgadgets. Dosent responded regularly as well.

So i just ordered yesterday, from FF-light.com. Now of course i see this thread hours after placing my first order with them, and the link for firefly-outdoor.com was shared for the e07x pro. I ordered from a different website - ff-light.com. Can anyone confirm FF-light.com is also a legitimate sight to order from? I apologize if this is a dumb question, i just got a little nervous when i saw there was a second website posted in this thread. also, no confirmation email yet… thanks
