Ummm, which LED is it using?

Surely it can’t be the CSLPM1 with a Fet driver, hopefully that’s a typo and it’s the CULPM1.

Using a fet with the PM1 is still risky using a high drain cell

FF uses a constant current driver, this Astrolux uses a cheap Fet driver.

Wow.. this is impressive! Hell of a price!, cslpm1, 1300m, and a 8amp CC Driver! Astrolux is killing it here.

I get the impression the driver is similar to the types Simon is using over at Convoy. And that is FINE with me! They are consistent and great for the price Of the light.

I didn’t think I was going to be interested in this light at all, man was I wrong!

Thanks Freeme!

Is the constant current 8amp type driver a FET? I don’t think they are, right? Based on Simon’s convoys test results they look pretty consistent runtimes. I’m thinking the L21a with CULPM1, that holds turbo for 8 minutes without wavering.

I’m not entirely sure, this is more of a question I guess lol. Thanks!
