Neck-Light Instead of Headlight ?

Never heard of a neck light until today:

Could be a useful alternative to a headlight in some situations I guess.

I’ve been wearing my Zebralight around my neck for years… seems to make more sense to use headlights that way than something like the light in that link.

a pricey double snakelight.

My wife recently ordered this one. Uses it for sewing while on the couch. Seems to like it.

She used to use my flexible inspection light, a Streamlight Jr Reach (link), but it tends to slip position around her neck.

we are cheap.

Just used it like a half-hour ago to read the microprint on a light’s “manual”. Does 2200K/amber, NW, and CW, independent control of left/right lights. Pretty nice.

Eg, you could have the left side memorised to amber/medium and the right side to NW/bright. Then flick either switch to which one you want. Or both if you want color-blending beyond WW/NW/CW.

Damn, that’s actually pretty nice. Wish more lights would have amber secondaries rather than red.
