Is that a big ring of TurboGlow? And what’s with the bail handle? Seems like an odd choice.
Between this and the new image of an upcoming Noctigon/Emisar I’m so confused on what’s going on with flashlight design today.

It has to be TurboGlow.
That "bail handle" was absent in their copper prototype. Since it is not a lantern, I don't feel that there is a need for that feature too.
Seems very promising very interested wonder what specs it will have would also like to see size comparisons the rendering makes it look a bit large.
Is that the final design or…it reminds me of a cupcake. Also reminds me of the dark windows classic style theme.
Interested depending on price / performance
first LEP i am actually interested in. i like the style / design / look

Where can one see the copper proto-type?
It’s bad. Real bad. And I think its our fault. It doesn’t matter what crap they make, people still line up to buy it. Here is another thread asking people to commit to buying a light that they know next to nothing about! Haven’t even seen it.
I miss old 4sevens designs and lights that actually have knurling and non-glossy ano that doesn’t look like it came from a gum ball machine. Don’t get me wrong, every now and then a new light comes along that looks great, but gee. Most of everything I see lately is just trashy lookin’. YMMV.
Carry on folks.

The battery tube alone looks like a mix of 4 different lights they chopped up and glued together
I think its just a really bad 3d model the dimensions don’t make sense like where or how is the LEP module housed etc the 21700 cell itself based on the image seems like it would go into the head of the light.
I’m surprised that people aren’t more interested in this.
Freeme are there any specs yet?

Totally agree, I’m very interested though I put my interest price a bit on the lower side based on its initial mention of throw I’ll more than likely pick it up regardless of if it exceeds my initial interest price.
After design has been finalized.
Cost is definitely the main factor for LEP.
Also, I’d like to see an actual image, not just a render, and for performance to be independently verified. If everything looks good, I could be interested. It’s just hard to say without those.
From Facebook (thanks to ChibiM):
This claims 1Mcd (2000m throw), which is about the same as the unbranded Neal’s/SkyLumen LEP, which has a 45mm bezel.
I’ve noticed that there’s lots of LEPs with 30mm bezels throwing just over 1000m and lots of LEPs with 60mm bezels throwing 2.5km or more. But there’s not many in between. The 45mm bezel of the Unbranded LEP seems to be the only one and looks like a good balance. I’m guessing this Lumintop will be about the same but hopefully even more pocketable.
The solid copper and trits looks very nice but personally I’d prefer aluminium for the lighter weight (and probably lower cost).

How much are trit tubes, $15 each? There’s probably $100+ worth of trit tubes in that thing. It does look nice and pocketable with that 18350 battery. Aluminum would be preferred to reduce weight. The extra bling looks cool but would probably double the price.

This looks nice, actually I am interested in the black one (rendering picture), but I am less interested in full copper one (in photograph), and I also prefer the style of the black one. I do not really like the ‘cross patten’ on the copper design. Thank you!
The copper version is very similar in style. Both belong on the shelf of shame.
Smile, you cannot kill them all.
Hmm. So is this going to be 1200m+ and 21700 (according to the thread title) or 2000m and 18350 (from the random FB post)? Or both?

I also prefer the black model. LM10 design does not seem to scale up well.
Quick update.
Umm, ill take one of each, including the copper, just no turbo glow ring please!. I am definitely in the minority here i feel, but i like it. then again theres no accounting for taste LOL. I do Not like the turbo glow ring though, dont see a need at all, design looks better without it.
Also, how much does it cost?
Also, does it really throw 2000m? if its even CLOSE to that, this will Absolutely be my first LEP purchase!
Its the first LEP i actually like the look of

Looks like it can do that, Neal’s brandless LEP does 2000m and by the looks of it the lens diameter could be the same.
Although this light is clearly shorter than Neal’s thrower, it is too chunky for a next LEP light for me (and IMO the details are ugly). I hope for a really small LEP light to arrive with maybe a 18350 or 18500 cell.

I agree, they should put in more effort for the design.
Or maybe less? Seems like someone was bored and doodling in CAD.
Also, is this 21700 or 18350? Post 19 has conflicting details and it doesn’t look like 21700 could even fit in this unless it’s has a very short focal lengthand light engine
