Cool. Recent version of Anduril? Also does this use standard Carclo triple optics?

1. Does the USB-C port charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable?

2. Can the USB-C port be used as a power bank for your phone?

3. Is there Anti-Reflective coating on the lens in front of the triple-optic?

4. Are there pins/pads available so that the Anduril UI can be easily updated?

Good questions. It is the old version of Anduril, but you may update with interface and extra tool. Triple optics refer to the pic other member shared ahead.

1. Does the USB-C port charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable? It can be charge with that, but it will come with USB-C cable.

2. Can the USB-C port be used as a power bank for your phone? Not in this one, we try to make it simpler, to bring the price down, for power bank you may consider Wurkkos HD20.

3. Is there Anti-Reflective coating on the lens in front of the triple-optic? Yes, to protect the optic.

4. Are there pins/pads available so that the Anduril UI can be easily updated? We will leave the interface accessable, so you guys can update the UI according to your taste.

Really appreciate for all your questions.

Absolutely a fan of triple and quad TIR lights. I think if I get another light with a charger built in, I’d rather have the connector behind a screw cap with an o-ring.

Good suggestion, like that idea.

Beam distance will be around 200m. Maybe farther, you will see when you have one in hand. Cash

Lanyard hold in the tailcap, same as HD20. If you use Anduril UI, then you an set it on standby led. Regards CRI, you can choose according to your taste.

Is the optic made by Carclo, LedLink or another brand?

Carclo 10511 Frosted Narrow
http://www.carclo-optics.com/optic-10511
https://www.ledsupply.com/led-optics/10511-carclo-lens-3-up-frosted-narr...

LedLink LL03LU-DMxxL
https://www.ledlink-optics.com/files/uploads/Multi%20Lens.pdf
http://www1.futureelectronics.com/doc/LEDLINK%20OPTICS/LL03LU-DMxxL.pdf

I only ask because it’s nice to be able to play around and swap the optic to produce different beam angles etc. Big Smile

Looks nice, bigger version of the FC11.

The design isn’t finished it seems, but what do you expect will the weight with battery but without clip approximately be?

I’m curious as the IF25A with 4x SST20 is too heavy (ca. 166g with battery) for me in daily use, I prefer to use the FC11 though the SST20 4000K has a nicer light colour than the LH351D.

I prefer the UI of the FC11 to Anduril btw. With the IF25A I get too often into stepped ramping or other states that I didn’t want, I will make a general suggestion of this in another post of a different UI that I’m working on which largely avoids such issues.

The programming interface should be accessible so with this light it would be possible to flash Anduril 2 or other firmware Big Smile I might do that because the only thing I miss in the FC11 UI is a battery voltage check so I guess Anduril 2 will do just fine. I too get sometimes stuck in settings with Anduril, even though I know the presses sometimes I miss a click and stuff…

Flatter than the above optics, therefore it is different. We try to make it as short as possible.

Wait, is it a buck+FET driver? Or is it a FET driver for the actual flashlight and a buck in the USB C charging circuit?

Yes.

  1. Matte anodizing or raw aluminum.
  1. The pocket clip. Please use a one way deeep carry pocket clip. Deeper than the current design. Please refer to the new Noctigon KR4 clip:

Notice a few things:

  • The clip reaches the end of the flashlight
  • The starting / open end of the clip has a standoff that allows fabric to easily slide under when inserting it into the pocket.
  • One direction clip. You already have a second mounting groove near the head for reversibility, don’t make a redundant and bulky clip.
  1. Increase the opening of the bezel so that it’s not blocking any light from the optic. Looks like it needs an extra 1-2mm or so in the pic below.
  1. Make 100% sure this optic is compatible / swappable with Carclo 105xx optics.

Even brass or copper edition would be great, I second the use of standard size optics so we Can use turboglow Inside It Cash

The only things “missing” is IMO an/a few AUX LED’s Innocent Other than the powerbank functionality this light seems to have everything I want in a flashlight Big Smile

Wurkkos: Here is a budget friendly 21700 size light with buck driver.

BLF: Please add everything to make it more expensive.

Low weight is for me most important but here are a few wishes:

What I miss in the IF25A is that when the battery gets low, high/turbo is then not very bright. I wondered the first time this happened “What is wrong?” And then: “Aha, battery must be low”. The indicator is still green in that case but the battery needs to be charged for full power.

So how about an indicator on the button like this:
- Off: Green, to find it in the dark
- On: green if battery at 100%-30% [ = all ok ] orange if battery at 10% – <30% [ = you need to charge soon ] red if battery < 10% [ = you need to charge now! ]

And to colour: what about a nice gray instead of black anodising? E.g. similar to the gray as used by the Skilhunt E2A, or a colour like sandblasted titanium or sandblasted stainless steel.

And, not really serious for this project of yours, but it would be cool for a high end light, if you are thinking of making such lights: if I can wish anything: USB to not just charge but to program the light Smile
