Help needed with Lanyard

Hi people
I need to make a lanyard for my FW21 pro (I just love this light) But do not have a clue how to do it so if anybody knows how or has any links that would be great.
I did a search but could not find anything that shows you how to make one when having no hole to go through. I do not use the clip so it needs to go around the body and I would like to use one bead.

thx

Try using a clove hitch or a partial turks head then just tie the ends together? The clove hitch is simpler but the turks head feels more secure.

Hum, I would suggest picking some paracord (or a different type of thread) and making a lanyard around the flashlight tube.
The “turks knot can be a start, but the simpler “cobra knot” can also work!

Hope it helps Wink

A search in the Q8 thread should bring some ideas up.

Try paracordplanet.com

It's only true if you believe it.

Thanks guys the Constrictor Knot/clove hitch knot did the trick to start it off. That’s what I was stuck on.
It turned out OK for my first lanyard.
!!

thx

Classy…I like it!
Just curious, as the tag end is out of frame, did you create a loop to run your hand through, or is it more of a “fob” with no anchor loop?
Nice work.

Looks very nice Rat!

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

No loop just two ends. I measured the skull so it fits perfect between my fingers for a good fit.
So I ended up starting with the clove hitch knot for a nice tight secure hold then snake knots finished with the diamond knot.
Have your guy got any to show?

I just ordered a new bead so will try some new (harder) lanyards.
