1. You like to get your Tail Twisted hard before getting your Head Screwed down, not too tight.
2. You have a Sensitive Tail, and get Turned On easily.
3. When I press your Tail Switch, you need a moment of delay, before you respond.
4. You dislike batteries that are Too Long.
5. Some FWAA suffer from a Premature Contact due to a Shorted Joint, that keeps them Turned On. This can be cured by the application of a Hot Iron Probe.
6. I really like your Tiny Triple, and I appreciate that you are moddable.
7. You run Anduril, which is awesome.
8. You are capable of Multiple Operations, when I Tap Your Tail the right way.
9. You have nice Clips.
10. You are loyal, and fun to be with. You are my Best Friend.
11. You make grown men want to fight over you, because you are Special.
You don’t understand how happy I am that I’m not the only one with the staying on issue. Its so annoying and I’m hesitant to show it off because what if it starts messing up and spazzing out lolol
Does this refer to the button timing that is default since 2019 (!) even in Anduril 1? It’s the same in Anduril 2, nothing has changed. Need more details about your issue, jon_slider.
All I see is the button timing that is standard since 2019-06-02, so long before anduril 2. AFAIK no manufacturer has ever requested to change it for their flashlight, so most Anduril flashlights since end of 2019 come with the same behavior.
Btw: Putting the batteries in from the end causes all kind of problems with FWxx lights and is not recommended.
Having one of these on the way, it has yet to arrive, and I already have some buyers remorse. All the fancy features and compact size are attractive, but it might be a fail for the one thing I consider the most important feature of any flashlight. It must be functional and reliable. Guns, knives, and flashlights might be needed in an emergency at a moments notice, so if I can’t 100% depend on it, it can never be my primary EDC. I am seeing way too many issues posted with these lights. That begs the question…can I trust this light to come on when I push the switch without fail? I have many firearms, but only a couple I trust to never fail or jam. Before ending a threat, I must first be able to clearly see that threat. I do of course hope and pray that neither action is ever needed, but in these times I feel compelled to be prepared to take any necessary actions to survive. In a perfect World, no such threats would exist, but this is not a perfect World. I try to have a perfect firearm and flashlight to deal with that fact.
Lumintop has acknowledged the issue of a short circuit that prevents the light from turning off. IF your light has that issue, I suggest you ask for a replacement light. Be prepared to provide a video.
If otoh, your light works correctly, some of the time, but not always, then copy PinkPanda:
Ive heard Tactical lights should only have one momentary mode.
It is possible to set up your FWAA as a single mode momentary. It also has a shortcut to maximum from off… if you dont use momentary. The Tactical feature set is there, but Im not sure I trust the hardware itself…
