I know what you mean to say. I do not like this either. However, I was only expressing my humble opinion, not directed solely to Acebeam. Sorry, if I stepped on anyone's foot here. I am sure Sb will take good care of these things.
If you think about it, with Andurils 4 clicks to lock we sometimes might forget to lock it everytime we place it in our pockets or backpacks, so the 2 clicks for On might actually come in handy for some.
