Amazon Price Sneak Attack

Better watch out what you grab at Amazon. A lot of items are double priced and beyond! No wonder the guy is so rich. I can get the same concentrate at my local store for half the price.! $24.99 vs $49.99!! Makahaya fungoowee.

I too have found items that were so high priced it made me wonder why even list them. Almost as if they didn’t want to sell them.

In the case of any kind of chemicals, some has to go Fedex ground which adds to the cost.
The more Skulls and Symbols on the side of package = more forms to fill out = Manpower (Womanpower/Humanpower, whatever we call it now) = more time.
Thank your gov’t

Amazon is just the "shipper" for that item at that price. They are not the "seller" who sets the price.

There are many items on Amazon offered by "third party sellers" for multiple times the going rate.

Try to find an item both "shipped and sold" by Amazon that is not offered at a competitive price.

Yeah just like shipping batteries…and we all know how that can be. Also I guess everyone’s just trying to make some $$. Some more than others I noticed too. :money_mouth_face:
At least their return steps is pretty straight forward. Print the label and drop off at local post.

I think Amazon is great if you want the customer service and quick, local delivery. An average consumer needs a lot of planning to understand aliexpress, figure out how to pay, then wait for weeks (even though they have become faster than before), and then have no warranty. also, a lot of products simply won’t be sold through cheaper overseas sellers.
Chemical products are a good example for having to buy local.

When I needed a new computer monitor around Prime Day, Amazon was really the cheapest around the entire online world. Wouldn’t buy anything full price on there. (bought a Samsung 27” curved for only 110$).

Had a hard time finding a certain item so I thought: let’s try AZ.nl?
Well it was sold by a third party, for 30% above MSRP, plus €17 for shipping.
AZ.nl is certainly not (what we call over here) a price-fighter.

Iffy things like white spirit, weed killer, semtex, et cetera, I always buy locally.

Of course, you gotta be a savvy shopper.

No different from the same 7buk zoomies that someone’s selling for 49.95.

You've gotta be careful with Amazon.

Sometimes they have the lowest price available online, but they have tons of terrible "deals" as well.

The same can be said of eBay and AliExpress.

It pays to shop around.

Yeah Amazon…easy but not easy! :money_mouth_face:

my sister uses: https://camelcamelcamel.com
as an Amazon price tracker.
we have not.

Nice! Thanks for the link.

I said that in front of a mirror and a Killer Camel appeared.

Some popular extensions for Chromium-based browsers for tracking Amazon prices include:

Keepa

The Camelizer

The Tracktor

They might be available for Firefox or other browsers as well.

I like Keepa the best, but they're all very useful.

NY legalizing pot explains that.

If you have Grease Monkey/Violent monkey this script adds shortcuts for CamelCamelCamel, Keepa and ReviewMeta

These extensions/scripts/trackers are quite useful indeed. I have the usual add ons like Youtube/Ad Block stuff but didn’t know about the shopping ones. Great for the shopper but not so for the sellers. Amazon here I come! :money_mouth_face:
