1xAA Flashlight with Red LED and reversible clipo?

As the title states, I’m looking for a AA flashlight with reversible clip (so I can clip to bill of hat).

low med high modes would be preferred, but not essential. Seems like this should be easy to find, but I’ve had no luck.

Thanks!

I assume that the reversible clip request is because you want to wear it as a hatlight? There are unfortunately no matches in my flashlight database.

If 1xAAA is okay then there is the Sofirn C01R but that is red only.

Yes, I want to use as a hat light.

I could deal with AAA. I currently use Olight S2 baton (18650) and lumintop AA tool UV (helps see some types of fishing line in the dark), so I’m already using 2 battery types, why not 3, at least it will be light and has 3 modes.

Thanks!

CO1R is an excellent off the shelf red light option
pictured in the middle:

(I changed the LEDs in the other two lights)

the clip is reversible, it has 3 modes, and the red 660nm spectrum is better imo, than the more orange 620nm option.

pic is a link to a thread about red light options:

AAA also weighs less than an AA version (I not familiar with Red AA, but if you have a preferred AA host, the LEDs Can be changed). Also search astronomy lights, as Red is preferred for that use.. you may find other options you like..

congrats!
hope it works well for you

Ive had issues breaking clips when trying to remove them..

hopefully you can get the clip swapped around, into bezel up position, without drama.

Seemed like that could be an issue so I pushed it off with a plastic auto interior pry tool.

Modes seem appropriately spaced.

Used last night camping. Thanks, parametrek, for recommending. Perfect for my use. Next sofirn order I will buy several in case they stop making it.

Or if you can tolerate ‘em (I can’t), those ‘S’-shaped clips that you can swap positions without even removing the clip.

Steal one from another light if needed.
