I just got my Emisar D4S V2
It’s a lovely flashlight and feels great in the hand. But after trying all light modes i saw under the glas quite a lot of dust particles. At first i was thinking it’s on the glas, but after cleaning it the dust was under the glas not on top. I tried to remove the bezel but it seems the bezel is glued on. But on the other side i know it’s possible to buy a stainless steel bezel so it should be removable. Anyone removed the bezel before? Is it glued or just tightly closed? I did not want to crunch to hard to avoid any damage i would feel sorry for.
Use a plier with rubber bands to protect the bezel, or a strap wrench.
you could do the plier and elastic thing or i even put a couple layers of masking tape on my wrench to avoid scratches, but dont worry about the bezel, your not going to break anything. just squeeze it hard with your hands and it will come off, hank does not glue them on. they are just tightly installed. you wont ruin anything just go slow. i would use a hair dryer on medium-high heat before pliers honestly. you will be good.
Mine are not glued. I always order the extra stainless bezel and never have any trouble replacing them. I press the front of the light into the soft, rubber, sole of a shoe and just unscrew the head.
