I’d love see a comparison against the M2 NM1 and a C8 PM.

Thanks for the review!

That’s for the review and what a killer price for such a thrower! So the l21b seems to be very similiar in size to the l21a. They pretty much just changed the design am I right? The L21a might be slightly bigger, so couldn’t they just have stuck the sft40 in that light and call it a day?

This L21B is waaaay nicer, cultured, and more civilized. It doesn’t feel like some tank left over from WWII. I love their new design! Feels actually good to hold, carry, and play with.

Lol I agree.
It’s a mystery to me how this l21b sft40 is getting the same throw as the l21a with KW CULPM1.TG 8A 6500k.

U think the reflector to the l21a made the difference? Cus I’m sure the kwculpm1.tg is a throwier emitter than the sft40.

Thanks for the review!

I already pulled the trigger as soon as I saw the weight on this thing. It’s better than the L2 in every aspect, was never a fan of the overly thick body and useless cooling fins so far away from where the heat source is.

It was clearly made for function instead of form and honestly it’s got a classic timeless design that just works. IMO one of the best convoy designs, paired with a killer emitter and a very decent driver for just $34!? Can’t wait to receive mine.

Thanks for the preview. Mine’s inbound. Glad I resisted the L21A Boost HX you reviewed months back. I think I’m going to get a bigger kick out of this one. Just wowza.

Nice review!

I would like to see how it compares to the L21a CULPM1.

Perfect. Didn’t know you have both these lights to compare. I have my money on the l21a, should be a close match. Man, this might be the cheapest 400kcd light. What a awesome deal

Great review on an awesome flashlight Rusty Joe! Simon continues to keep the quality up with all of his stuff (flashlights, hosts, drivers, etc.) while still offering a lot of bang for the buck.

Was that an opossum at the end of the video?

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

Great job, Rusty!!!!!!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

“In many things in order to truly understand the small picture you have to understand the big picture first.”

True Color Rendition (TCR)/Simplified Definition: “On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, a TCR will equate to what true colors you see in sunlight vs the same object’s colors you see when illuminated with a flashlight. The closer the two are, the higher the TCR rating will be.”

The TCR Reference Standard is the Walmart Ozark Trail OT 50L , Model No. 6103.
It has a TCR rating of ‘10’. $1.00 including batteries.

The Convoy L21B with the SFT40 dedomed led will be my next light because more lumens downstream.
Numbers are good but I like the beam better like you stated in the video.

Need some recommendations where to buy this? I don’t see it in Convoy’s Ali store at all or anywhere on Ali, found it on Fasttech for $38. Bangood $44 plus shipping, unless there’s a coupon somewhere?

I’m also interested. I haven’t purchased my first Convoy yet. It says “no longer available” on Aliexpress. Is there a shortage of the LEDs used?

Temporarily out of stock. It seems to be the hottest emitter on the market market right now in terms of demand. Supply ebbs and flows. It’s supposed to be restocked this month for production, and Sofirn has already resumed sales of IF22/IF22A. I was fortunate enough to grab an L21B with it in the 2nd wave. Just a powerhouse of throw and spill, and very little heat. Love it.
