Can you please recommend a cheap spot welder?
I already have a microwave transformer so only need the electronics and handle
If you’re referring to those battery powered deals, there really aren’t any. It’s sort of a caveat emptor deal since you might get lucky and get one that works fine (for a while) or one that dies in a shower of sparks after a few welds. The only other ones are the transformer based ones that seem to be okay, but I don’t know if you can buy the electronics separately. Check Aliexpress.
You just need a good 100 amp controller for your microwave transformer you can buy them on eBay they have two versions 40 and 100 amp ones but pay the extra cost for the 100 amp version you can also buy the the welding tip handle on eBay as well
