battery suggestion

I need a button top IMR 18650 that’s about 65.5-65.8mm in length. 66m might work, but no more than that, and it has to be button top. i dont know if it has to be IMR, im using it for a gimbal (EVO-GP PRO if that makes any difference), and the official battery for it is IMR. is anybody aware of a battery that meets these criteria?

btw the length is not based on those, its based on a pair of “ultrofite” ones that i found to work with the gimbal, after trying several other types that didnt work, including flat 35E, sofirn, button 30Q. so if by any chance you can suggest a battery that you somehow know by first hand experience to work with EVO-GO Pro, thats even better, thanks!

A standard flat top Sanyo NCR18650GA might work. The flat top of the GA extends past the top of the wrap and works with every “button top only” device I’ve tried it with, although I can’t speak for your gimbal. Length is 65.3mm.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cylindrical Li-ion with a protruding bottom except for some with protection boards on them. The GA has a flat bottom.

i found a button top version of it, the spec lists the length as 65.3 also! do you think this is a typo? cuz if not, then this will for sure work i think

I don’t think that’s accurate. The unprotected button top will probably be 66.5 – 67mm.

that’s what i suspected, i emailed them to ask just to verify.

by the way, did canada get fked again with the batteries situation? i just noticed that on AE, a lot of trusted stores that used to sell batteries no longer list them anymore, im assuming its because they cant ship to canada, so AE made it so that the listings dont even show to canadian customers. same with illumn, i tried to putting these in cart just to see how much total cost would be, it couldnt even generate a shipping quote.
