That skateboard guy (Josh Neuman) died in a plane crash in Iceland last month
Had to watch that again, just for kix.
Could you imagine being the dewd in the minivan at 2:11, minding your own bidniss heading up the hill, when all of a sudden a guy on a skateboard coming the other way plants himself into your bumper/radiator/etc.? Like hitting a deer, only with lots more lawyers involved.
But it figures, the way people like that end up getting killed. Guy who survives 4 tours in the mideast, ends up slipping on an icy stairway and cracks his melon. Guy who juggles chainsaws while blindfolded chokes on a chicken-bone. Etc.
That was an amazing skill how he could skid or drift the skateboard to slow down for the corners and hairpin turns. i had no idea that was possible. Sad news to hear of his passing.

So many variants! I’d seen the Levan Polkka before but not this with the accompaniment. Very cool.
Here’s the longer one with the cat:
The general story about the cat — it’s not actually grooving. It’s a very, VERY mellow pliable cat. Some guy held it by the scruff of the neck and bobbed him in rhythm to something else to make it look like he’s grooving. And so, video editors captured him and put him in a bunch of things, to viral effect. Levan polkka was one of them.
where do the children play?
Q. How do you defend a caged lion?
A. Open the door and let him out and he will defend himself.
Huh… I’ve seen/heard them before.
The kid sounded familiar, at least by name, but… nah, STH isn’t the right song for her.
The gril on the drums was pretty good, didn’t think I saw/heard her before ‘til the credits at the end. Sina, that’s her name.
The guy on guitar was good. Played pretty close to The Real Thing.

Don’t know anything about them.
My son is the one who introduced me to them. (He’s a drummer.)

Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin.
Sage advice indeed…

Somehow I think these videos are relaxing looking at.
Here is something similar. Deep cleaning cars with dry ice.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary notation and those that do not.
That’s sooooooo funny.
I like the cat that’s just representin’ through the whole thing.
Jingled some memories along the way, too. Kinda reminds me of this:
Here was a guy who suffered almost incomprehensible stuttering as a kid, and just powered through it and could end up doing this.
