Keychain Light With Beacon Mode

Which keychain lights come with beacon mode these days?

Do you mean “true” keychain lights? Or small lights ?

The Fenix E03R has a red light blinking mode.

I meant keychain lights. Of all the strobe modes, my fav is the white light Beacon Mode. I’ll keep the E03R in mind as it’s got the red beacon as mentioned.
Seems not too many keychain lights with beacon modes?? My Jetbeam Mini doesn’t have beacon mode. I know most bigger lights above keychain size have it but even then, not too beacon modes overall I take it with current lights in general? :open_mouth:

According to specs, the Eagtac Teeny DX3E has beacon mode:

The Skilhunt M150 (AA/14500) also has it. The M150 is longer but it still is a relatively small flashlight!

Well, how big a light are you willing to put on a keychain? I find 1aaa too big, though it is fine for a pocket light. The venerable Photon Freedom has a beacon mode, and it definitely fits on a keychain. The Rovyvon A5X is slightly smaller than a typical 1aaa light and weighs just 15g with battery, and has all kinds of modes and people have recommended it to me. There are also the small Nitecore lights but I’ve heard their quality is not so great. There is someone on BLF who is a big fan of the Trustfire Minix so that might be something to check.

Hey, great thanks and I like the look of the Teeny and it’s got a brass heatsink! Not too big and not too small. Plus I never had an Eagletac. Hmmm, might be the one now! :money_mouth_face:

Yeah same here with aaa lights. I find it just a tad large lol. It will be on my car keychain so never know when you might need a beacon when out and about driving. Yeah, the size of the aa Jetbeam mini which I have already. Speaking of Rovyvon, I had that one for a while now. Gonna go check if there’s a coupon and look around.

If it’s for your car, leave it in the glove compartment. I’d look for a small headlamp rather than a keychain light for that purpose, in case you have to fix something on the car.

I got the Astrolux HL01 that I put in the car and it’s brushed metal too. Yeah, they are very helpful for hands-free stuff. Actually, my Xanes headlamp is one of the most used lights at home now. I would say it’s my No.2 on my list of used lights at home. Funny how things turn out when one has a bunch of fancy flashlights and which one gets used the most lol.

BTW, I am not sure if you consider the GT Nano as a keychain flashlight (short or long version), but it also has beacons (2s and 10s).

I did consider it before but it's kinda big still. Anything bigger than a Sofirn SP10S is too much for my keychain and ocket. I might get the Nano next time just because I do have a pair of 10180 batteries.
