Is the head / finned area aluminum or metal of any kind or is the whole thing plastic?

The whole thing is plastic. Feels like a plastic kid’s toy and is lightweight as heck, but that somehow is part of what makes this so cool!

Thanks,
Are the batteries replaceable? Just regular 18650s? How do they fit in the light?
Figure the ones included are crappy for that price.
Thanks again, Looks like fun, trying to resist…..

I have that effect on people. My condition is exceptionally bad. I need quarantining.

I’m glad I’m too busy, or I’d probably buy it and try to add gpu heatsinks on each side like the old stanley led spotlights and then over drive it.

Why not go for the big version! Admittedly, not as cool looking. I’m always so tempted by these, I guess from the days of buying spotlights at autozone.

Can’t argue with that, I’ll admit.

Ha ha ha – I’m trying to resist the temptation……. MUUUUsssssst UNsuBSriiiiiibe!!
Any way this is a good thread as this is suppose to be a BLF not CPF forum. If nothing else the lights are a fail, at these prices you can give them away and a noob wouldn’t know the difference just thinking they have a 50,000 lumen light Innocent Big Smile Facepalm

Just got mine in. Took a week from Amazon.
First observation – Geeze is this thing light. All Plastic.
Charging it now.
Second observation, the charging port area get warm.
Started out pulling 1.65a, Settled down to 1.3a.

For those hoping to mod…
The thing is a 2 piece shell split lengthwise. Held together with lots of very deep seated Phillips screws.
Going to need a serious skinny screwdriver to get in there.

Third observation, it’s too big to fit my Lumen tube…
All the Best,
Jeff

And Darn you again Rusty Joe!

Yes, I have that effect on people. I’ll consider myself darned.

On a side note, the P70 version is here and is even bigger and throws further!!!
