Can an OSRAM 3030 LED be soldered onto a MCPCB designed for XPE 3535 package? Has anyone tried?
It seems possible based on the following drawings, but I have never soldered an emitter before so I am not sure. LED’s cathode is 0.2mm away from touching the anode PCB pad.
Is the margin for error to tight? Can the self-centering effect of molten solder save the day? What are your recommendations?
