What should I do w/ 20 PDA batteries?

I have 20 of these, brand new.

I get ~3.8V across the leads (2 cells in parallel) and 3.3V across the gold contacts that I marked + and -

Problem is, I can't charge by connecting leads to + and either - (even if I connect to both negative contacts).

Any ideas?

no ideas?

i was hoping to use the included protection, but not unless someone can help me figure out how to charge them.

seems a shame to recycle these...

Do you have a working PDA that takes these cells and a charger for it?

If not, you need to see if you can find a service manual for that PDA which ought to go into enough detail to let you figure out how to hook them up.

They look like fairly standard LiPo cells so if you can't get anywhere on documentation you can always separate out the cells - obviously losing the protection in the process.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

Nope, no PDA or charger.  I wonder if the manual will go into enough detail to explain the pin out on that board - I bet I can find it on the web.

I suppose I could wire them w/o protection and balance them w/ my hobby charger, but I was hoping to figure out how to make a couple power tool packs.  Probably not worth the effort...

Wish I could find a use. Thought about putting them to use in one of those USB chargers that take 18650s but kind of point less having plenty of notebook salvage batteries. This is what I use to charge my pda/camera/phone li-ions http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Battery-Wall-Travel-Charger-Mobile-Cel...
