Is there a curated list of bona fide flashlight sellers on AliExpress?
I’ve had this issue for other interests and it can get quite frustrating. For example, while looking for a particular flashlight store, let’s for argument sake call make Fleet, I found:
Fleet flashlight Store <—- seems the one most people rave about
Fleet Online Store
Fleet Lighting Store
Fleet Direct Store
Fleet Factory Store

i just assume if i have a problem, ali will refund directly then settle with the vendor
it has always worked before
but i also do not usually get flashlights or batteries from ali

I don’t think we’ve done one of those but generally people can steer you in the right direction as to an official-official store or a good dependable store for whatever.
