What Scares You The Most?

Slugs and flying scare me the most these days. With slugs, it’s something to do with that slime they are covered in. Looks like drill bit oil and will bore a hole into your skin and go live inside you! Shocked With flying, well if there’s a problem, there is only one way down and that’s straight down! Shocked Unless the airlines will allow wearing a parachute and carrying some door breaching explosive charges, then I’ll stay put from flying for a while. Big Smile

If there's a chance that I can get injured, or killed, that scares me.

If I'm safe, not much scares me for long.

Lol, oh yeah that’s definitely an adrenaline rush! LOL That’s why I try to not go there if I can. I can give an example and it’s got to do with the Red Prune fruit tree out at the back. I went to trim it last spring and a tiny baby branch happened to nick my hand. About and hour later it was swollen like a puffer fish, and the pain! Crazy

That’s funny. Recently I watched the Muhammad Ali documentary. He was afraid to fly also. His first trip was to Rome for the Olympics. He wore a parachute.

Ali’s the greatest and bestest! I dunno but every time I go by canned goods at the supermarket, it reminds me of being in an airplane. Poor sardines, at least throw in a tool to pry out of that tin and be set free. Thumbs Up

The most scared ever in my life was when Susan M's Belgian Shepherd and Chow ambush charge attacked me from a blind driveway in the upper 300 range of West Delano avenue four years ago. That less than two-second event was how the hostility of the surface of the earth and the evil wickedness of people finally, at age 57, tragically devastated my life.

The second most scared ever in my life, almost a tie for first place, was three years ago when Bird M's Queensland Heeler ambush charge attacked me from across the street in the upper 400 range of West Delano avenue.

That is twice in 140 pedestrian daily blocks walking, seven miles per day, 2,500 miles per year, that I was one of the one percent that did Not need an immediate ride to the hospital due to attack dog bite injury.  I got out of it with one tenth of a second to spare the first time, and one thirtieth of a second to spare the second time.

People let their power breed canines loose on the public street. That's why it is required to be equipped with safety equipment  when setting foot outside.

Evil, wicked people hate me because I carry God, GoPro and Glock seven miles every day on the public street.

Damm that is surely an event no one should go thru. I'm sure the Glock puts your mind somewhat at ease now! Smile I found this video and it sure brings out the point to watch out for dogs at all times and have a weapon ready just in case.

Well, since almost anything one does in life carries with it a chance of injury, harm, or death… I really do not think much about it.

But bats…. I HATE BATS!

A rebirth after death. Chances are that I will be born in a poor country and suffer a dreadful life in poverty and hopelessness. Facepalm

My hope is my soul can leave this miserable planet earth and go explore the vast cosmos. No rebirth back to earth.

You win the thread.

The Journal of Alternative Facts TM

"It is critical that there is a credible academic source for the growing and important discipline of alternative facts. This field of study will just keep winning, and we knew that all the best people would want to be on board. There is a real risk in the world today that people might be getting their information about science from actual scientists"

Some lunatic disinformation filled nut job doing something truly horrible to important people, throwing our nation into more chaos than it has already been suffering from over the past 4 years.

Yeah, and on the other side of my car in the carwash: Rebel Wilson and Lizzo.
But they can’t touch me because I’m driving a VW Polo, and not a schoolbus.

Guess that also depends if they’re carrying bags of flour or sharp knives.

Or worse, both.

I’ve been watching what is happening in Georgia, where I’m legally registered as an overseas voter, with increasing horror.

Election workers in Fulton County shredding registration forms
Offering food or water to people waiting in line to vote is now a criminal offence.
New absentee ballot timelines make it very difficult for overseas voters.
State legislature has control of the state election board.

As for flying… The being in an airplane does not scare me at all. Airports on the other hand are terrifying. We got both covid on our recent trip to the US. Good chance we picked it up in an airport.

Landing at LAX. Can you spot the plane on parallel approach?

When she was younger Rebel Wilson played on an Aussie TV series called Fat pizza, great show the producer is Maltese so its got a good mix of Australians. Shes a very different person now days.

People that get a dopamine hit from forcing (or trying to force) others to do something, at no objective benefit to themselves.

They’re generally capable of perceiving any fictitious self, or group, benefit imaginable and THEN they’re capable of advocating absolutely anything.

The overt tyrants and greedy people aren’t as scary – there’s at least some rationality to their behavior.

There are other fears, but I won’t ever tell, because I’ve read “1984” and I have no interest in playing Winston in this iteration.
