Hello I am a novice flashoholic I dont understand how the new BLF lantern can be a power bank or how to make it know to charge and not try to take a charge can someone please explain it to me?
Usb-c compliant devices have circuitry where a powerbank-capable device can go “what are you?” and the other device can say “I charge” or “charge me”
Any idea or hint on how to have 2 devices, both having powerbank capability to be the source while the other is the recipient?
Let’s say, BLF LT1 and a powerbank that has USB-C port. And I’m using a USB-C to USB-C cable.
How do I initiate the LT1 lantern to charge the powerbank?
What if I want the powerbank to charge the LT1 lantern instead?
In this case, both the LT1 and the powerbank can be in “powerbank mode”…
I understand it’s easier assuming we have a USB-C (to USB-A female) OTG adapter and a USB-A to USB-C cable, since the OTG adapter side will become the powerbank source (as per my understanding)
Good question! I would like to know too!
Ps: Good video’s on your youtube channel thanks!
Ok thanks!
