IMALENT MS08

.

It runs on three 21700 cells so it's too big to be considered an EDC.

It's more like a Coke can than an EDC.

...

That's like calling a RovyVon Aurora A3 the most compact 18650 flashlight ever.

Sure the A3 is small, but it doesn't run on an 18650.

Can it really fly ?

It’s a little big,but for the dimension it have it looks good, especially regarding the 40 degree temperatures at 10.000 lumen, this is something good.Very good.Need to test how it work now :smiling_imp:

The cells are removable, so I am interested.

Beautiful product, Imalent never disappoints but unfortunately in the output there is also the Manker MK38 which offers two versions one like the MS08 with 8 XHP70.2 LEDs but a much more versatile one with 8 SFT40 LEDs which offers in my opinion the best compromise between flood and throw, so I ask you, is there any hope of having an MS08 also with the SFT40 led?

Sorry I have a question, I went to your official website and I saw a very interesting price but immediately after I saw it out of stock, but how can a novelty be already out of stock even before being put on sale?

I think Imalent forgot that EDC actually is actually an acronym for something.

The formula for a new Imalent light is just to pack as many XHP70.2 as possible and call it worlds brightest_ flashlight.

I disagree, the MS08 is really compact and still can be carried comfortably in a brothel not that big together with wallet and house keys so for me it is the perfect EDC in relation to the size and I really hope now that they have a case of cooling to see the same flashlight with 4 SBT90.2 leds so as to have a small portable GT94 ... think about it IMALENT!

Really?! Why would you want to carry this there? Haha

I APOLOGIZE TO ALL I WANTED TO WRITE BAG BUT WITH THE T9 BROTHEL IS OUT ...

It probably happened because I use the automatic translator because I am Italian and bag and brothel in Italian use the same initials.

Thanks to TMaxxJJ for correcting me and pointing out my blunder.

Haha it’s fine, I found it hilarious!

I'm glad you had a good time friend, thinking about it is really hilarious! As I write to you I can't hold back the tears of laughter

I think his point is, there’s only one place you can EDC this and excuse the bulge in your pants.

I don't think it is very comfortable to carry an EDC flashlight in your trouser pocket, unless they are trousers with side pockets and in any case I prefer the pocket of a jacket to even a sleeveless jacket.

@Imalent_official

“INTELLIGENCE WITH A TUCH” ?

Yes Imalent was wrong to write as I did not check the post before sending it and trust the Google translator but now we do not exaggerate with all these corrections, we apologize that we are not all native English speakers but you try to write in a another language without making a single mistake ... ERRARE HUMAN EST PERSEVERARE AUTEM DIABOLICUM ...

Fedtro’s translation error made my day. Hahahaha!

Regarding the MS08:

  • EDC - “EDC” stands for “Every Day Carry” … I consider this to mean stuff that I might keep on me at all times. For flashlights, this typically means pocket-size, which for me is small single-18650 lights and below.
  • Jacket Pocket Size - Even small single 21700 lights or larger 18650 lights are too uncomfortable to have on me at all times. I would consider that size of light to be “jacket pocket size” … too big to carry all the time, but small enough to put in a jacket if I think they might be needed.
  • Coke Can Size - A 3x18650 light is far too large and heavy to carry in a pants pocket or even a jacket pocket. These are “coke can size” lights. Sure you could put them in a bag, but unless you carry the world’s heaviest purse everywhere you probably don’t have that bag on you at all times. Even if the light weighed nothing, just the weight of the 3 cells would be too much to carry everywhere all the time.

Basically, I don’t think anyone should ever call a 3x18650 light “EDC”. It’s a completely different category of light. Calling such a light “EDC” is like calling a Sofirn IF25A a keychain light.
