Looking for a new light

Looking for a new light, basically I’d like something similar to the Convoy S21B but in a premium brand.

- 21700
- Osram emitter (maximum throw, ideally as close to S21B as possible)
- Similar physical dimensions, i.e. tube light
- Charge port would be a bonus
- Simple firmware with instant-on via the tailcap

Is there anything like this? Both Fenix and Nitecore have options but none are anywhere near as throwy as the S21B.

Nitecore MH12S looks ok, but only 300m throw. Would like a bit more.

I can’t answer your question but I can tell you there will be many options. Convoy will be hard to beat at any price.

Not fussed about price, I want something premium but in tube light form factor. Can’t find anything with similar throw.

This size with similar LED for this form factor… I don’t know

You can search with XP-L HI LED

I went for a Nitecore MH12S. Not as throwy as I initially wanted but I’m starting to find the narrow hotspot of the Osram emitter irritating, especially when using it as a bike headlight.

this can be interesting.
No same distance but with wilder hotspot and brighter spill, this can be better at 50-100 meter on hotspot and best visibility at close distance in the spill for bike use.

Smile If you like a “wider” beam you can check the WildTrail WT1M with XHP 50.2. Beam is for me near perfect for a single LED bright spill for 2-20 meter and a big hotspot for 20-50 meter. It’s a very nice bublle of light in front of you Big Smile - I use it with my electric scooter on inter-city bike paths, very nice perform for the price Big Smile Good thermals design and you can use “low drain” cell Samsung INR21700-50E 4900mAh illuminates strongly until 3.3V - -
