Hi I already own the blf q8 with the upgraded brass screws ect , however I’ve just come across the sofirn q8 pro.it looks to be a fair bit better however I’m no expert so I just wanted to ask you guys if it’s worth me selling my blf q8 to buy the sofirn q8 pro? Or is it better to just keep the blf? Thanks
Do not sell your original, but get the pro to compare them.
You might get disappointed comparing it side by side, since the human eye does not see intensity linear. It will show more brightness, but do not expect it to be double as much light.
Why not even upgraded Q8 Pro which is Astrolux EC06, it is exactly the same as Q8Pro but have 6 LED. Also driver it is very similar and have the same Anduril 2 version. Also have the same bug with charger controller.
The Astrolux EC06 is a winner as is the new MF01X 2022 model.
dont see the point, still plenty of light and the upgraded cant really keep up the turbo very long where the original can for some time before getting to warm… u will almost blind yourself with the newer on turbo because its so bright, u really need big open areas to use that much lumens.
So the eco6 is much better?
IMHO, wait for the MF01X to make that determination.
