Thrunite Archer 2A V3. Layman impressions.

So I took to the internet and stumbled into some “know-some-not-all” flashlight reviewers, who
recommended this light, even if you were to own only one flashlight.

Bad timing. Thrunite always sends me some promotion. Not now.
They don’t even have it in stock at their website. They only sell it at their store in Amazon.
But I wanted to enjoy the “magic” so I paid full price. In gray color.
Cool white is all they had in this color. It doesn’t bother me, because I will hardly ever use this light.

The light is too long. They clip is in a very uncomfortable position for me. I corrected this before
turning the light on. Now it sports a beautiful double one in chrome.
Next to the cap. Where God intended that clips most be.

This model is suppose to project 500 lumens. Maybe it does.
I compared to a WowTac A1 (same family) 550 lumens and this one is a little darker.
And skinnier. Looks like it was stretched by some over enhanced engineer.

The A1 is shorter by more than an inch. Fatter because the 18650, 2600 mAh that is Included
in the deal. Which, BTW, has a mini USB port.
Talking about deals.
The Archer costed me 34 bucks and change. The WowTac, 9.99 no tax at Ilumn. Free ad.
I had to invert the clip in that one too.
It has all the advantages of the Archer but the firefly mode, and throws way more.

If I were given the choice of either or, I would have bought the two of them anyway.
You can never have enough, or know enough.

Cheers.
