Which Out Of Production Flashlight(s) Should Be Resurrected?

There must be a thread like this, but I haven’t seen it -

So which light(s) do you think are worthy of being brought back from the dead?

My vote - Nitecore D10 and EX10, with ramping. I have a lot of lights in AA and 123, some are really nice, but none I like as much as these.

All the old Sunwayman rotaries.

Thrunite T10 2016 and 2019
CNQG Brass Beauty
Olight Smini
Olight R20
BLF 318

Starry Light 4AA with metal body, ATR and more lumens.

And Xtar Moon RC2 with more lumens and a name brand 5000mAh 21700 built in.

I like those too… but since they are not coming back
the Lumintop FWAA and the not yet released Sofirn AA w Anduril, offer similar ramping, and size

EX10, EX11.2, D10, FWAA:
.

I like the Sysmax Rotaries the best…
Sysmax is parent company of Jetbeam, Niteye, Nitecore, and Sunwayman
,

Jetbeam RRT-01 is still available, with the same feature set as the Sunwayman V11r and V10r…

WOWTAC A4 , The first version. 2x18650, slim, light, and a great thrower at a good price.
Supposedly there was going to be a warmer version but that never happened.
Got replaced by the V2 version. A stubby 1x26650 version that gets so hot on turbo and high that is is suitable for branding cattle.

Super Tiger COB headlamp.
I picked up 4 before they “improved” it.
The best 150ish Lumens I have ever stuck on my head. Just an awesome smooth beam pattern.
Perfect for arms length work. And it was like $18 for the light, charger, and a good protected 2000MAh battery.

The Tacklife LFL3A, if it could come out again at the price I paid - like $10?
Built like a tank. You could beat a Surefire into a shapeless lump of metal with one of these.
Throws like crazy. Needed a warmer tint. But still great for the price.
I should have picked up a bunch for gifts before they went AWOL.

All the Best,
Jeff

Assuming you mean the BLF-348, there is still the SF-348 is available on Fasttech with an XPG emitter. Its quite easy to reflow it with a 219b, turning it into a BLF-348!

True.
Plus Astrolux A01.

CPF Italia Cometa

I want the original Olight M1T Raider back. A really excellent single 123 light.

SWM rotary.

You can still buy the Jaxman Z1 and mod it.

The Cometa thing really took advantage of Jaxman.

My vote goes to the T10T v1, of course the sunwayman rotates and the TCR rotaries.

A modern run of Nitecore DX11 with anduril could be neat. I’d probably go for a Zebralight soda can light, too…

Sure i can. And sure i have Jaxman Z1. It’s just priced triple.

Noctigon Meteor is still my favorite soda can light. Would love to see Hank bring it back with a better UI and new emitter options. I don’t consider the D18 a true successor because of its lack of boost driver, worse runtime and (IMO) inferior beam pattern.

Rotative Sunwayman, Jetbeam, Niteye and Nitecore.

And this pair of winners:

Arc flashlights, both the multiple colors available in the AAA, and the old reliable LS models.

Yes, a true enduring classic. Please say what a better UI looks like, as well as what a better beam pattern looks like. What emitters would be best?

I still vividly recall all of the large amounts excitement on the Russian flashlight forum when the Meteor was being developed and readied for release.

Mine is XPL dedomed and my D18 is W2.

The TN4a and the Sofirn clone of it. Fantastic AA lights. Nice to have a decent performing light that isn’t LiIon and only 4 AAs.

I’d like to see the Fenix P1D come back. A lot of functionally similar lights are available now but nothing really matches it as a total package.

Acebeam K40 was nice medium size thrower with a great beam —— Solar Force products
