So I bought this charger new and it makes a lot of strange noises.
The first noise is a component noise inside the charger that happens while discharging and charging and the second noise is the fan! Is this normal?

I’ve just bought this NC2600 too, the only noise I listen in my charger is when fan is active, and really it’s not a ‘clean’ noise

The audio file you uploaded doesn’t work, but it can be normal to hear a hissing, clicking, or squealing noise on anything that contains a switched mode power supply.
I have a Milwaukee battery charger that hisses, and another one that doesn’t. I contacted Milwaukee and they said that it’s normal.
Sorry about the audio, yes some devices hiss but this one was unbearable it was a loud complex hissing noise I could heard 5 meters away, as this thing was in my office I sent it back, I kept my VC4S that is completely silent.
