For you guys in the US or outside Asia, how is the TS10 offered? Is there an option to include a battery (and charger) bundle like a SP10 Pro as per official Sofirn Store? I just add USD2 and I get a 14500 and charger.

https://shopee.ph/Sofirn-Sp10-Pro-Mini-Led-Flashlight-Super-Bright-900Lm...

I just want to compare notes because in the ‘Official Wurkkos Store’ that caters to my end of the globe offers the TS10 with battery at a cost more than twice a TS10 without a battery.

https://shopee.ph/Wurkkos-Ts10-Powerful-Mini-14500-Edc-Flashlight-With-3...

In local currency, with battery: Php3,707; without battery: Php1,257. Even without converting to USD, simple math shows that it’s cheaper to buy 2x TS10 than to buy 1x TS10 with a battery.

Did I miss anything about shipping out 14500 batteries from China?

Wonky pricing considering I just add USD2 for a battery in a SP10 Pro (and I find it ridiculous on a Lumintop dealer that I need to add USD4!!! to a FW1AA for 1pc 14500 battery).

the price on shopee, I will check with outr colleague and update to correct one, thanks for the info

Dear Wurkkos,

I am sure I am not the only one very interested in a TS10 with 2700K or 3000K LEDs.

Do you have any plans to offer such a version of TS10? If yes, when will it be available for purchase?

Shipping anything with Li is an automatic price hike, as the packages need special markings, handling, and usually aren’t transported by air.

Thanks! That’s indeed helpful — that explains turnaround time between ordering and receiving my order and maybe why the flashlights stay in export customs for 48hrs+.

For all I know, the origin of the TS10 is deeper in China so transporting the torch with Li battery might cost them more……

Nah, infrastructure is very good in China and there is virtually no difference shipping costs from any Chinese city.

I misunderstood you earlier… the TS10 with battery cost does seem high. Wurkkos can check out if there is a pricing mistake since their other flashlights can ship with a battery for a small marginal increase in costs. It’s true that adding an EXTRA batteries beyond the number of flashlights you order will greatly increase costs.

Silver was only one batch? :/

Unfortunately, yes. According to my contact at Wurkkos, the silver was apparently a mistake by the factory and I think they wanted white.

Glad I got one, despite its odd behaviour. Smile

3000K we get some pieces and will test, will consider adding 3000K

This is obviously a commercial thread, why does it keep showing up in the “not commercial” recent post view?

At first this was a discussion post, and later the product came out and began to sell, how to change it to the correct category

Looking at the spec sheet for the lattice power LEDs, it looks like they only have 2 CRI variants…70 and 80. Am I wrong?

Absolutely! It’s an awesome little light.

Loving the matching paracord you have on your TS10 with orange aux!! I think I’ll be receiving the same color mid-August. Looking forward to getting matching colored accessories for it.

Has anybody managed to unscrew the tailcap ? I didn’t have much trouble with the front but the tailcap doesn’t bulge.

yes,
it helps to warm up the host, to soften the blue loctite
(there was a lot, not shown in photo after cleaning)..
.

there is no retaining ring, the switch parts just fall out, so it is a good idea to keep the tailcap glued on.

there is an additional O ring to support the signal tube, in a groove inside the body tube. This is an upgrade over the FWAA, that lacks a second O ring for the inner tube.

TS10 has slightly less switch parts than the FWAA, I prefer the feel of the TS10 switch, and it has better resistance to false activation:

Switch pressures:
stock FWAA 10 ounces
stock TS10 24 ounces
FWAA w O ring mod 28 ounces

the other difference between FWAA and TS10, is no lens over the optic in the TS10, which contributes to making the TS10 shorter than the FWAA.

Thanks, I’ll try with some heat (actually for the front I simply turboed it beforehand).
I guess I’m a bit weird because I want to use a lower force switch, I find the FWAA switch to have a perfect feel (granted it can accidentally activate more easily).

For those that have flashing kits for this (or are interested), I noticed this morning that AVRDUDE recently added support. So you can bypass all the Python/pymcuprog rigmarole if you want and just use our tried-and-true AVRDUDE: https://budgetlightforum.com/comment/1873274#comment-1873274

You could check the page 9 write.
Since this is a brand new LED, there are still many places that have been uploaded more than two months ago without update.
And I will upload a new document after the Lattice Power updated their manual.

I updated my TS10 to the latest firmware and what a difference! I’m measuring 0.01lm now.

The max regulated level appears to have changed from level 65 to something else. Does anyone know what the max regulated level is for this updated firmware?

SammysHP made this ramp and I copied it. Looks like 90 is the max regulated.

my understanding is wurkkos tried the new hex and found another bug, so they’re going to use the original settings on the third batch too. (i think the third batch is already gone too.)

and they plan to “mass produce” the flashing pad for us…(because we’re all advanced programmers :P)

Also the temperature limit of the flashlight will also be affected.
We can obviously feel the body has become hotter than before.

They simply don’t know how Anduril works. In the ceiling config 1 click means level 150, 2 means 149, 11 means 140 and so on. There is no range check and when you set ceiling below floor, strange things will happen. It’s not a bug (although a range check on the user input might be a good idea, although it will increase the code size significantly).

I think they misunderstand how to set the ceiling. He thinks you have to click 150 times to set a ceiling of 150. And when he does this there is “chaos”

@Wurkkos, please note that the ceiling becomes [151 – n] where n is the number of clicks.
1 click sets ceiling to level 150 (151-1 = 150)
21 clicks sets ceiling to level 130 (151-21 = 130)
55 clicks sets ceiling to level 96 (151-55 = 96)

Some of the Anduril diagrams which are circulating do not explain this clearly enough.

If you make 150 clicks you are telling it to set ceiling to level 1. I never tried this but I guess it could cause strange behaviour.

It turns out that there’s a big difference in wording between the 2021 version Wurkkos has versus the 2022 April version!

As a newbie to all this, the 2022 version makes a BIG difference in trying to make the UI do what you want it to do.

Question about battery type

is the Wurkkos 900mah 14500 Battery an ICR, IMR, or INR chemistry?
