Need Help Identifying an older Bulb!

So sorry if this isn’t allowed here, I desperately stumbled upon this site while trying to figure out how to replace a bulb!
It’s GE, says “Hungary C5”, 40w, 120v, 2L, 250 Lumens.
I’ve tried Googling and searching on Amazon and cannot find an equivalent.
I’m hoping one of you brilliant (haha didn’t mean that as a joke at first!) experts can help me find what I’m looking for.
I’m open to an LED equivalent, I am just not sure what the screw size of the bulb is or how that should be measured.
Thank you so so much!

Have a pleasant time at this friendly forum, Grayci0515!

I think all you need is a C5 sized bulb, though they are rare.

Are you talking about something the size of a Christmas light?

If not, I'd need a photo to better understand.

Is there a way for me to insert a pic of it on here? Definitely not the size of a Christmas light, more like the size of a refrigerator light, maybe a little bigger. I could text it to you

I guess it's not a C5 sized bulb.

There's a link in my signature on how to post pics on BLF.

Here's the photo, but honestly, I don't know light bulbs well enough to tell what type it is.

Thank you so much racoon city!
Is there anyone who can help me with what type of bulb this is! Thank you.

It looks like a 40 Watt Appliance bulb, such as used in a refrigerator or in an oven or in a range hood.

Looks like a standard 40W incandescent bulb with E26 base.
If its smaller than regular bulbs you would put in a light fixture to light a room then a picture with a ruler would help.

What country are you in and where is this bulb going?

I’m in the US and the bulb was plugged into a ceiling fan, it is now over the hood of the stove.

So if its a standard bulb you can buy at any Home Depot or Lowes then you should have no problems.
IIRC you can still buy incandescent bulbs in the USA, though you could upgrade to an LED bulb for pretty cheap as well.
