COAST XP11R: A Respectable XHP70.2 Zoomie From Home Depot

Hmm, doesn’t look too bad.

’Though it doesn’t get warm (or hot) to the touch ’cause it’s all wrapped in rubber, and bottles up all that heat. So I wouldn’t keep bonking it back up to turbo if I didn’t want to cook its innards.

Nope, cause it’s not driven that hard. For 4k lumens, then yes, it would have that effect.

Still, 2000 lemons is… what? (or watt?)

Figure a very generous 120lm/W, that’d be 17W or so? Still, I’d say more like 20W on turbo (ie, closer to 100lm/W).

My S2+ would cook itself to death freestanding at roughly 10W (2.8A), and that’s even with convective air-cooling and no “hand-cooling”.

Unless they’re lying about the 2000lm? I’d love to see how much output with the AAAs.
