***Sofirn Anduril Headlamp Discussion***

Hello again,

I hope you’re doing well today.

As you probably know, Sofirn recently released a few Anduril flashlights, such as Anduril AA flashlight SP10 Pro, Anduril Mini flashlight SC21 Pro and Anduril Lantern LT1-Mini.

Also want to upgrade the headlamp with Anduril UI. I am here to hear from you! This thread is more like an interest list. just comment down below what you think.

Will you be interested in Anduril headlamps? Which Sofirn headlamp do you want with Anduril UI?

If you have any idea, just let us know!

Im more interested in properly made lightweight headlamp host like skillhunt have, but half price

Hello Sofirn,

Can you please let us know when the 2700K version of the SP10 Pro will be available?

It would make for a very nice Anduril headlamp when clipped on my baseball caps.

Thank you!

Maybe you could make a small 14500 right angle headlamp with Nichia 519A

Don’t have a real Sofirn headlamp (D25x models sold by Sofirn don’t count), but definitely interested if done right. In no particular order; lightweight, wide angle even beam, stabilised output and high CRI (including R9!).

Side question: the SC21 pro description doesn’t specify CRI. I noticed the non-pro comes in 2 versions (unspecified and 90 CRI). So does the pro come with the LH351D 90 CRI or not?

  • Compact and lightweight 18650, don’t reuse an existing host like the SP40 (too big/heavy), like Quad said the Skilhunt H04 should be the goal.
  • Interchangeable tube for 18350
  • reasonably efficient buck driver (better than the H04), it doesn’t need to be powerfull, 3A is sufficient.
  • Nichia 519A

This will be a best seller.

My favorite headlight has Andúril, so yeah, I'd like another!

How about the Sofirn SP40, but maybe with an SFT40 emitter?

(I like throwy emitters, and the SFT40 is the best budget throwy emitter right now.)

…and spare wide and narrow angle TIR optics . It cost cents but will please any taste.

Btw, headlamp does not mean right angle. They are not the same imho. Although I can live with a 14500 right angle.

What limited use I have for a headlamp (primarily work related) does not require that complexity in a UI. Anduril is cool, but not when it’s attached to my skullcap.

I like headlamp with wave sensor. it is really good funtion while working. I can’t find decent 18650 headlamp with it

All I use Andúril for is ramping and double click for turbo.

If that's all you need, it's not that complex.

Anduril 2 offers very low brightness which, depending on your use case, is extremely nice to have.

My SP40 does that. Granted it’s single direction stepped ramping. Not saying a smooth reversible ramping option wouldn’t be better, but I don’t see the need for all the other bells and whistles on a dedicated headlamp. Easy to operate and sensibly positioned switch would be more important to me.

Some people like the bells and whistles, some people don't.

If you don't like them, you never have to access them.

It's not like getting rid of these bells and whistles will cut the price very much, if at all.

Like SP40, but with efficient buck driver.

18650 + 18350 tube

Headband with plastic clip like skilhunt or armytek -> No silicone loop, those are bad!

Smooth ramping is for marketing only, it doesn’t work with low modes, which is important feature for headlamp.

I have a Lumintop HL3A.

The smooth ramping is totally awesome, and it works fine with low modes.

Smooth ramping is for marketing only?

What are you talking about?

I like smooth ramping so much I wish all of my flashlights had it.

Can you adjust ramp from level 2 to level 4? Theoretically yes, but practically no. And you will not know is it exactly level 4 or something close to it
