Noctigon KR1 FC40 Review – A Floody Pocket Thrower, Perfect for EDC

A perfectly timed review! Hank just posted mine out.

Really good review! But too floody for me!

Very nice review. Love the regulation these new boost drivers offer.
I have one incoming with XHP35. I don’t own one yet but it looks small in the photos with your hands.

I’m glad y’all like the review! These new boost driver options from Hank are just what we’ve been asking for for awhile. Pablo, that XHP35-HI should be pretty awesome!

Thanks for the review. The Acebeam E70-AL CRI95 appears to significantly outperform the KR1 FC40 in terms of sustained output.

By getting much hotter apparently, both tactical_grizzly and Zak mentionned it gets too hot to hold in their review.

I just used it for aircraft walkaround inspection and all i can say it is perfect. Drop from high in my case is not so visible (at all) and beam profile is something in between triples and single emitter flashlight, just perfect.

I am truely amazed with 6000K tint Hank has, i order 5000K but Opple said it is 6000K and it is visible to the naked eye.

Now if Hank could make 21700 version of this model...

Indeed. E70 gets much hotter than this KR1 (which was at the stock thermal limit of 45C). Also keep in mind that Anduril has active thermal management and a customizable temperature ceiling, whereas E70 has neither of those things AFAIK.
