List of US companies that sell emitters and other parts...

Does anyone know of any US websites that sell Emitters, Batteries, O-rings, tailcaps, etc,etc..?? (other flashlight budget parts)

are there any?

(Warning, Rant below)

So, I'm pretty fed up with these Chinese Companies. I have made 3 orders so far, and all three orders have either been wrong, incomplete or just plain didnt send at all. So I'm sick of it now. I dont want to deal with them any longer. I will pay a Premium Just so i don't have to wait 40 days for a product, only to get the wrong product - or be lied to about it being sent.

These People who are filling orders and running these Chinese businesses aren't stupid. 90% of what they do is on purpose. They lie about shipping orders, They purposely send you the wrong product when they are out of stock just to buy time and because they know half the time buyers will be like "Oh screw it, im only out $13.00 and returning this will be too much hassle" and they LOVE it when that happens.

So If the only place I can go to get my Flashlight parts is from these scandalous dealers like DinoDirect, Dealextreme, FocalPrice, and all the other Chinese crap companies... Then I'm done with budget lights.

Bryan's a standup guy. (Doesn't have a really deep selection, though.)

ShiningBeam

Illumination Supply

LED Supply

SBFlashlights

Then there is Mouser, Digikey, etc . . . I personally only have experience with Illumination Supply & ShiningBeam and can vouch for both.

+1 for led supply. Small selection but good prices and fast shipping. No problems in 10+ orders.

I agree that Bryan is great and that the selection isn't deep...but...I look at it this way...what he does sell is good stuff. If you filter out all the crap parts from the Chinese suppliers, they don't necessarily have a huge selection either. Bryan just does the work for you...order the driver or emitter and it will be good, period.

I've used Shiningbeam for drivers and LED's before. No problems at all and he ships quickly. If you see it on his website, he has it in stock. Maybe he has a small BLF discount (to match the CPF discount)?

Thanks so much!

It is way too hard to try to compile all the US based companies by searching, as i Tried. Thanks for giving me a list.

ShiningBeam

Illumination Supply

LED Supply

Illumination Supply has a great supply of stuff, LED supply has some very interesting Emitter Selection (3x XPG r5's, etc..) These are perfect. I feel much more comfortable buying from within the Continental United States..

If anyone knows of some more, please post them in this thread!

+1 LEDSUPPLY
Use them for my source of feeder lights 3up stars and weather proof drivers. Fastest shipping ever.

http://www.mouser.com/

Newark, Digikey & Mouser have emitters, some optics, pcbs, switches, etc. Plus a whole lot more. Mouser is my favorite, for pricing and the care they take to pack everything.

I may have more later...

http://www.drillspot.com/

Drillspot is a source of all kinds of things, like tools, aluminum & plastic stock, etc. They have random free shipping on things, so I watch and buy from them when the shipping is free.

Something like this? ;-)

trooplewis wrote bryan at shiningbeam and got this answer ...

Hi Bill,

Thanks for telling me. I have just created a special discount code for BudgetLightforum.com members. The code is "BLFuser", it is same as the CPFuser, also 6% off.
Best Regards,

-Bryan

Wow! Forget about him!! $5.00 for a Ledil reflector??! He must be stoned. They're less than $2.00 each at Mouser. Be warned.
