Hi,
I want to build a work light, which is powered from a power drill battery (24V) As a light source, I would like to use a Luxeon V, because I still have on here. The driver should be able to deliver up to 3A and also come with lower power modes. I dont need anything that does battery protection, as this is done inside the battery itself. Does anyone have a recommendation? Size doesnt really matter, as I will be 3d printing a case for the electronics. It should have a high efficiency, as I dont want to have to actively cool the driver.

This doesnt really do 3 Amps, does it?
Or you get dc dc converter to 5V and use ordinary flashlight driver or use it directly . Kind of https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32860203965.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.100006...

There are plenty of adjustable CC-CV buck converters on Aliexpress, get a 5 or 10A for safety margin.
