Ach!

Tung!

Just some comments about your site:

  • The text is a bit clunky here and there, and to translate ‘throw’ as ‘Wurfweite’ is a straight translation from English that is just wrong (you can use that word for actual throwing, such as in discus throw, javelin throw, but for distance to light up it is just not correct). The right word to use is: ‘Reichweite’.

A translation of relevant terms can be found here (messerforum: denglish -> deutsch):

- As you have a .de website aiming at German buyers: you are not allowed to call a bicycle light a bicycle light unless it is StVZO approved. This means it needs a beam with cutoff, it may not have flashing modes and it must have gone through the approval procedure. Even showing it in use in pictures on a bike on anything but mountain trails is not just allowed as it will give buyers the idea they are buying a lamp that they can use anywhere on public roads. German authorities will go after companies, distributors, dealers for such things (but more too, they will go onto fairs and check), so the legal representative in Germany could face a (quite large) fine…
