Yikes if the lens is just pressure fit then it must be pretty cheap.
If mine breaks I can hopefully use it as a learning experience to try to repair it with my solder iron, or epoxy on the lens etc (thanks for telling me about the lens.)
So far I have never worked on or modded my lights.
I learned here on the forum that it was handy to have a spare battery fixed with a rubber band. In real life the battery will last me a year but the band comes to good use hanging it to a hook.
LOL! Lennart, I have that one in the front of the above picture! It doesn't work any more because I loaded a battery wrong way round. Shame really, I kinda liked it in an inexplicable way. Roughly similar output as an average proper 'Low' mode. Not exactly a quality item, but it only cost me a quid. As an emergency tool/glove box light you can't really go wrong. If I can find it again on Ebay I'm going to buy another..
Thanks bro, Im going to order this one now. Its the same light I originally ordered from DD (PowerLight brand?) but never received it, hence this post.
And those Ebay shippers are quick, that orange light in my first post already shipped.
