Anyone still edc larger flashlights like over 6 inches/ multiple cells if so what models

Single cell but definitely “larger” C8 sized EDCs for me.
My biggest EDC is an M21B. I’m fine with the size, but the crenulated bezel was wearing holes in my cargo pockets, so I’m back to an S21A.
large edc for me means an 18650 tube light like a convoy s2+,a D4 or a Fw3A.
EDC to me means in your pants pocket not a coat pocket . a light in a holster to me is a work light or a duty light and I also don't consider a keychain light an EDC .. it's a keychain light . same as the light on your phone isn't an edc light .

I have to ask what you’re doing that needs a multi cell light I carry a convoy S21A every day and it’s every day I don’t have a rotation or anything. I could get away with a M21 B with the right pocket clip but anything else C8 size or bigger needs a belt pouch.

These days if it has more than one cell it is not suitable for edc.
The largest light I ever edc tend to be small single 18650 lights like the Emisar D4. However usually I Edc Smaller than that.
Yeah, something like a 2×AA or 2×AAA penlight is still manageable, but as much as I like, say, the SF47 (2×21700 inline) or EC4GT (2×18650 over’n’under), nfw would I carry around either one all day.
Well, maybe if I were a night-watchman or something…
Nothing beats my MH20 for being compact. Same exact size with its 18650 as my i332 with its 16340(!!!), and both have onboard charging, side-clickies, etc. Love the MH20’s UI with the dual-stage switch. Instant access to moonlight, turbo, and last-used with one press.
Word. Preferably with a head not much larger than the body, i.e. no Convoy C8 for me.

2 cells etc are definitely out for EDC
sometimes i will use a single AAA like lumintop tool, at night around the inside of the house

In the old days back in college I used to occasionally EDC a 2xAAA maglite or a 2xAA Underwater Kinetics light. They were fairly small for 2-cell lights.
But that was back before white LED flashlights existed. LEDs are so powerful these days one cell is all that’s needed for EDC.
I thought 6 inches was the average
