Lumentop tool aa diffuser

Does anyone have one or two of these laying around? I have an idea for a small non flashlight project and need a couple.

Do you need the glowing diffusers or just regular difusers? If the second is the option, maybe you can try using caps of small bottles or flasks in order to make the job. Also, in this sequence, you can try to add glow-in-the-dark tape to make the luminscence.

Just an idea in case you don’t need/can’t find the original ones!

It is actually to hold a sight light onto an archery bow. I cannot find the right size tubing capped at the end. The glow is not needed but it is exactly the right size to fit tightly around the sight housing. I was hopping someone had one laying around not in use.

Would slightly stretching a 20mm I.D. Silicone Diffuser to fit over the sight be stretching it too much?

If you think 20mm would work fine, you may want to add the Silicone Diffuser for the Wurkkos TS10 to the title. However, this diffuser is longer at ~48mm, and it has a rounded tip, which could be advantageous. You could easily remove some of the length if need be.

Click here to see the diffuser.

Since the TS10 is so popular, perhaps some BLFers received the diffuser as a free accessory that they don't need. I received the larger diffuser free with my Wurkkos TS21, but I use mine. Good luck!

If any BLF member would like design suggestions or help with tying a customized paracord lanyard or fob for use with lights & knives, please feel free to message me here.

If you have a decent auto paint & body supply around you can probably find silicone caps/plugs in the right size – used a lot for painting and powder coating. They’re sold on Amazon as well but the price is not attractive…better there to just wait for a shipment from China/Lumintop. You can definitely get the pvc/vinyl thread caps on Amazon in almost any size you want, too, just red or black, and they are a bit thinner and stiffer of course. Might also email some of the domestic Lumintop retailers to see if they possibly have one they could spare from a defective return or something (Illumn, Killzone, JC Customs, a few others…can’t recall all of them and who sold/sells Lumintop).
