4 pack of 18650 batteries with 9900 mAh ...for real??

I can’t believe these $5.00 18650 batteries with 9900mAh only have 1/5 stars:Amazon.ca
I can’t believe Amazon would allow them to sell?!. HB

Add them all together won’t equal 9900mah. Amazon needs to step up.

No. The seller is lying. The highest capacity 18650 cells currently available are 3600mAh.

This is a very common form of fraud, and Amazon does little to try to control it. You will seldom see Amazon recommended as a place to buy lithium ion batteriesas a result.

Naah. I have here a bunch of Sanyo and they have measured 4200 mAh output at 5A discharge rate.

Anyway, this Amazon ad is shady, because 9900mAh a cell does not exist anywhere. I think they are just 990mAh each.
Look at the head of the cells. What does it say?

REWRAPPED RECYCLED CINESE CRAP

PS: “Re/Discharging Protestion Circuit” :+1:
“Low reoccurring operation cist, ”
“Sheif-Lief” :weary:
“Envirommental” :smiling_imp:

How do they get so much mAh into a 6.5mm/0.25 long by 1.8mm/0.07diameter….yup,that’s a 1/4”long x .070 (that’s a little over 1/16”) diameter battery…check the size in the description.?! HB

It's real!

...

By the way, I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you for pennies on the dollar.

lie

or incompetence - adding the mah of all 4 cells together, so that number could be accurate

but those are just regular 2200mah cells

The only way to get more than 3.6Ah out of 18650 cells would be if the cells manufacturers actually put their absolute greatest tech in their cells.

I am sure someone like LG could make a 4Ah 18650 with their LG M58T tech.

These must be some special 18650 batteries… as you can see, they can be used in alarm clocks, t.v. remotes, wireless mouses, cleansing instrument (to clean what, I can’t exactly tell), electric razors, and the burglar alarm!

they’re for those 1 billion lumen lights.
