Hello everybody!

Hi, I’m Zerosvn and I have a problem: I can’t stop buying flashlights.

I went down the rabbit hole 2 years ago when I discovered the Sofirn Sp36.
I’ve had my fair share of Maglites and other “regular” flashlights before, but never knew about “high performance” flashlights and the flashlight enthusiast community.

My collection quickly ramped up to about 12 lights before I was able to stop. I did reviews for a few of them on my blog.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I saw an Olight deal for a free keychain light. That’s when I got sucked into the hobby again.

7+ new lights later, I’m still on the flashlight high. I really need to stop buying.

Help!

Edit: Here’s the list of lights I recently purchased.

Already received:

  1. Olight Baton 3 Pro – OD green cw
  2. Olight i3t – stainless steel
  3. Olight iMorse (keychain light)
  4. Square 800lm cob led (for fun and gifts to family)

Awaiting delivery:

  1. Convoy M21B – MAO, GT FC40 4000k
  2. Convoy T4 – MAO, Nichia 519a 5700k
  3. Boruit V3 (GITD keychain light) – poorman’s Rovyvon Angel Eyes E7
  4. Pioneman K36-c – MAO, XHP 70.3 Hi 5000k
  5. Pioneman C8+ – Tan, SST40 5000K (filler for discount on K36 & chance to try a decent thrower)
  6. Wurkkos Ts10 – Brass, blue aux, CSP 4000k
  7. Noctigon DM11 – SFT40 6500k, grey, red button, wide TIR.
  8. Noctigon DM11 – XHP 50.3 4500k high CRI, black, cyan button, narrow TIR.

Dang, I miscounted. I’m at 12 new lights in 3 weeks. Gah!

Considering:

  1. Acebeam E70
  2. Convoy S21A – MAO SFT40
  3. Convoy T4 – Polished titanium

Thank you. Learning about all the different emitters and specs has been fun. So far, I’m getting one of each of the new emitters (except for B35AM, but it’s kinda old now anyway).

Apparently, there are high CRI 70.3 and low CRI. The one I’m getting on the K36c is high CRI. Simon just posted he has 70.3 but low CRI for free upgrade so I might get another MAO M21B with it to try. The low CRI one should have higher lumen count. Need to dig a bit more. Anyone with info on this, please chime in.

Hello, Zerosvn! Nice to meet you.

I also have been looking at the Acebeam e70 for a while now. I like the looks of the smaller version using 18650 too, so I can’t decide.

Have fun and and see around!

Welcome to BLF Zerosvn! Looks like you have some great flashlights coming your way. Beer

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.
