Haikelite MT03 manual

I have lost my sheet of paper with the Devourer’s operating instructions on it. Has anyone a link to a copy on the internet, or alternatively, can someone tell me how to reset the torch to factory settings? I have not used it for a couple of years (it’s been lost in a box since we last moved) and the light seems to have some operating problems. I cannot remember, for example, how to get it to ramp smoothly instead in steps. It’s the original version of the light from when it first came out.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe this will help. This is the NarsilM Manual from 1lumen.com The internet says that is the UI on the flashlight.

NarsilM Manual

I’m pretty sure the MT03 does not have Narsil. Here’s a link to one of Haikelite’s first official post here:

You can check out other posts by member “Haikelite Official”. I haven’t read the whole thing, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the MT03 does not have ramping at all. I have the newer MT09R, where you can switch between stepped and ramping output (original driver, non Narsil). Due to problems, member Texas Ace developed a new driver for this light with Narsil. If I’m not mistaken, the MT09R is the very first Haikelite light with Narsil.

Edit: newer edition of the MT03 is indeed updated with the Texas Ace driver. (Both MT09R and MT03 have identical emitter setup, so driver is interchangeable)

Ah, of course it might not be a smooth ramp - I’d got so used over the years to other lights like my BLF Q8 and my FW34’s that I have obviously assumed that it’s a smooth ramp. Many thanks for that reminder. I’ll try and sort out the other problems myself now Bob has given me a link for the UI.

Many thanks to you both!

But I’d still be interested in how to do a factory reset if anyone can help. There are certainly some other problems with the light and I hope a reset may solve some of them.
