Hello! As a right angle collector, I’m seeking a YLP Gekko in any working condition, which seems to be discontinued. (Yes, I have read the forum posts about it being a tad bit inefficient, but I’m still interested in picking one up to mess around with and hope that someone has one just lying around…)

Subscribed. I have one in excellent condition, but it’s not for sale at the moment. It’s my only working headlamp at the moment, and I’m using it every night now that the days are getting shorter.
I might be shopping for headlamps again as single 18650 is kind of not enough for my primary usage - typically have used 2x18650 headlamps adapted from cycling for running. Might still keep it around as a smaller light, but if I get a headlamp that fully replaces it, I’ll try to remember to check if you are interested.
What do you want to find out? Linear driver, UI coded by geek user “Inferion”. Host looks good from outside, but its not made properly so far comparing to h04… or h30 or Zebra the mother of all L shaped headlamps . Hi-cri Samsung LH351D led and TIR. Optimized product. Cheaply made and sold out for good money … Success.
There is new batch of Gekko on the way.It will be in stock soon. May be some minor issues will be fixed.

Americans can’t buy YLP any more for the foreseeable future, at least directly. They only take Paypal, but Paypal has banned Russia.
Not only Americans, most of the world has problems making transactions with Russia. If YLP sells and ships directly from China it might be possible, but otherwise YLP is now mostly exclusive to Russia.
Yes, one can not buy directly. But as I know post still works here. Transaction are possible in cripto. So nothing is impossible.)
Hmm… That’s a shame that the 2.0 is probably locked behind lack of payment options (ignoring crypto). Cross my fingers for a 1.0, I guess.
Another option , you can fly to russia and buy it yourself.
BTW now I have 1 or 2 vacant Gekko 1.0 from new batch. I can try to sell it using cripto just for fan , in someone need this light.
