I am a huge fan of Hank lights but he has so many great ones (including new models) with nearly unlimited combinations of emitters that I feel like I haven’t fully explored the possibilities.
I just got this one and I love it:
Dual Channel version DW4 18650 work light
Color: Black
Switch back light: Red
Channel 1: 519A 2700K dedome
Channel 2: SST-20 Deep Red, 660nm

My third Hank, a DW4 with 519a 4500k dedomed and boost driver. Beautiful color and the efficiency! My D4V2 219B and D4V2cu SST-20 are great as well but never get used.

My favorite lights are my DT8’s. They just put out so much light for their size and still fit comfortably in my pocket. I currently have one with 6000k W2’s and one with 4000k SST-20’s. I’d like to get one with 519a’s, but haven’t decided which CCT yet.
Do a tint mix!
I would love it if you could recommend some tint mix builds. Not just for the DT8 but for any other models that you would recommend. Thank you.

Wow nice! I noticed that even 2 of the 519A put out nearly as much as the 9 E21A R9050 2000Ks in my K9.3
I wonder if Hank could do a D18 filled with 519s
Yeah i have one K9.3 with E21A 2000K ch1 + deep red ch2 and another one 2200K E21A ch1 with deep red ch2 and they dim so fast it’s almost unusable unless there’s no moon
i would buy one with 50/50 519A and deep red with buck/boost driver
D4V2 is my only and my favorite out of 15 or so lights.
Thinking of adding another one. DM1.12 or D4K are the most tempting at the moment

I have a K1 thrower with SBT90.2 5700K, 4500lm, 420KCD. It puts out an absolutely ridiculous amount of light. I have a second one with the green Osram emitter and the throw is great. I was on the top of a 40 story building at the ocean shining it down onto the beach and out into the water. Super cool
My favorite model thus far is the D4SV2 with the 26800 tube.
Without the tube, the ergonomics aren’t great. I have very large hands, and the stock D4SV2 is simply not long enough to get a full grip on. The extra battery life of a 26800 is nice too, but the extra body length is the main benefit for me.
As for a specific favorite build, it’s a toss up between the W2 (standard driver and optic) and the 519A 4500K with boost driver and extra floody optic.
I have those same 2 lights (as long as the Osram is the green W1). I agree, the K1 with SBT90.2 just puts out an awesome beam of light. My boss calls my green one my light saber.
Puglife, those are some great pictures. I love that beam and color. It definitely has me thinking about going warm in my next light.
Yep it’s the green one. I’m thinking of getting a pocket SBT90.2 thrower. The K1s are pimp but not pocket sized by a long shot.
Yea, even with a pair of cargo pants, it just wouldn’t look right.
D18 SST20 sand is my all-time favorite.
Least favorites will be D4 green and KR1 cyan. Anodization is probably one of the worst compared to other similar price point budget lights. Both colors faded to yellow or lighter shade over time. Stubborn stains are harder to clean for cyan matte finishing.
Ha yeah. I tried stuffing it down the front of my pants but I was getting a lot of unwelcome attention

Do you have any beamshot of your DW4 using both channel? i want to see if it blend well i might buy a d4sv2 with this config for my weekly spooky forest walk !!! 
What’s the best way to take a photo of that? It makes a beautiful rose pink color when double click while having either channel turned on
