Which emitters for dual channel

Hello I am new here and just getting into the flashlight world. I want to get a dual channel light from Hank where one channel throws and one floods. I understand that the W-1’s are good throwers and the Samsung LH351d’s are good floods. I want the light to be as bright as possible I am not concerned about true color at all. I just want them to go far and light up the sky. I also want it to last is why I thought that a 26650 flashlight would be the best to go with. Would appreciate any advice from you knowledgeable people. Am I on the right track or am I clueless? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you're looking for a dedicated thrower for that. When you have a quad TIR in a small head, even the W1 would give you only mediocre throw, way less than, say, Convoy S2+ with the same emitter. You will be disappointed in the throw.

Get a dedicated thrower like Convoy L21B SFT40, and use your Hank for flood--that's what quad optics are for, not throw. For flood LH351D is ok, but I still recommend 519A even if you're not looking for best color. The loss in lumens is completely unnoticeable, but the gain in color rendering is very substantial.

QReciprocity42 thank you for the response. So is there an option when you can get a good flood and a good throw in one light? I live out in the country and when walking through the woods at night I just want to have both options to switch to in one light. If I hear something in the distance I want to be able to zoom in on what I am hearing in the distance and while walking I want to see everything in front of me.
