The Lumintop EDC18L has a simple UI versus Anduril on the regular EDC18. It worked for a while then on high brightness it would drop to the lowest mode and blink. It will not reset itself and the only way to reset it is to turn off the power by loosening the tail cap. It works OK on moon light and the middle brightness setting. Is it possible to replace the UI with Anduril?
Is the battery fully charged? Are the contacts clean? It is not possible to update it with Anduril.
All contacts are thoroughly clean and the battery is fully charged. It will likely be my bedroom and house light with moonlight and low setting working and I'll use my Wurkkos FC12 outdoors until I get my new ordered FW1A Pro light.
Lumintop did send me a new replacement EDC18L and allowed me to also keep the defective one. After using the replacement which worked perfectly. The replacement soon started acting the same as the first one. I sent it back and traded it even up for the FW1A Pro. Their customer service is good.
