1% problems with Convoy? You are doing better than most.
I very rarely have an LED or driver related issue with Convoy, and I’ve never received a warranty claim for the 1 year I provide. I’ve had a few bad remote switches and misaligned LEDs, but nothing major. I stock the M2, S2, C8, and L21B. I run a hunting flashlight store, so just the models customers can mount on their rifles.
I used to sell the 4X18A, L6, M3 and even then I rarely saw an issue.
For Convoy I strip each light down and check everything, tighten mcpcb screws, retaining rings, clean contacts, center LEDs, clean the surface of the LEDs with IPA, check UI, and then a turbo test for 1-2 minutes. Very time consuming, but virtually zero returns. I guarantee that this check stops any potential issues that others experience.
