What a monstrous size this light is! I'm really enjoying it so far, but I feel that the XHP70.2 isn't really suited to this light, well, not for my uses anyway. I'm thinking of swapping it for an XHP70.3 HI, probably in 4000K so I have less "backscatter" with all the particles in the air. I'm pretty sure it's a 12V emitter based on the 4S cell layout. Anyone here done an emitter swap on the BLF GT70?
I've never "worked on" a light of this size before. Will it be hard to line up the reflector properly? Anything in particular that I have to watch out for before disassembling it?
